Mr. Watson has extensive experience in bankruptcy-related litigation representing debtors, creditors and committees in all aspects of Chapter 11 cases. In particular, Mr. Watson has prosecuted and defended hundreds of adversary proceedings seeking the avoidance and recovery of fraudulent and preferential trans­fers, including some of the largest such actions ever commenced. Mr. Watson also has broad experience in general commercial litigation matters representing corporate and individual clients in both federal and state courts, as well as in various arbitration forums.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Ira S. Sacks LLP, Mr. Watson was a partner in both the Bank­ruptcy and Corporate Reorganization and Commercial Litigation Departments of Dreier LLP, where he was a member of the Diversity Committee. Mr. Watson was also previously associated with Zevnik Horton Guibord McGovern Palmer & Fognani, LLP in New York City and Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Per­retti, LLP in Morristown, New Jersey.

Mr. Watson is a member of the Bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Watson received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Fordham Environmental Law Journal and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickin­son University in 1993, where he was elected Pi Sigma Alpha.
