On February 23-25, 2009, we tried a $20 million breach of contract case for our clients Diesel Props S.r.l. and Diesel Kid S.r.l. ("Diesel") against Greystone Business Credit II LLC ("Greystone") and Global Brand Marketing Inc. ("GBMI"), before Judge Baer in the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York. The case arose out of a failed distribution relationship between Diesel and GBMI, and the failure of Greystone to pay for nearly $20 million in shoes sold to GBMI under a three-way agreement. Post trial briefs were submitted in March and final arguments are set for late April.
